[ ever since waking up, kokichi has been silently and quickly gathering as many weapons he could get his hands on. for as much as he talks about how fun this game is, he actually hates it. it's just like monokuma's killing game. he can't stand this and he's not going to let this mastermind just get what they want. ]

[ he gathers as many potential murder weapons as possible and throws them into the pool. there aren't any secure places in this warehouse (he checked everywhere) and this is the next best thing that he could find. you can only reach the pool by going through the gym and there's enough in the gym for kokichi to block the entrance with. it's not that he's trying to hide it since, well, everyone has a map and can see that there's definitely a pool behind the gym, but he wants to see whenever someone goes through it. he figures that if anyone finds the door and then gets into the pool, it's going to take them a while to grab the weapons. if he got back before they got out, maybe he could just try to trap them in there instead. who knows. it's a flimsy plan, but that's all he has to work with in this environment. ]

[ he has already gotten a good deal of weapons by the end of the first day. a baseball bat, a crossbow, some arrows, a broken scythe, some knives, things like that. if there's one thing that kokichi is good at, it's getting around places quickly and without being noticed. he has taken everything and thrown it into the waters before going out to see what people were generally doing or seeing if he can find anything else. he does manage to find shuichi's hat (what is this doing here?) and he decides to head back to the pool with it. it's not like he's going to throw the cap in there, but he just needs some time alone right now. ]

[ he slips through the small gap that he created to reach the door and walks down the hallway. he doesn't realize that someone has already slithered their way there, but guess he'll find out as soon as he opens the pool entrance. ]
